Litza's no prove bread

Ingredients

  • 1kg flour
  • 950ml water
  • 1 tbsp yeast
  • 1 tbsp salt

Method

This is an extremely simple bread recipe that doesn't require any kneading or other faff.

Simply mix the ingredients in a large mixing bowl cover with cling film, and leave in the fridge overnight to rise.

In the morning take the dough out of the fridge and preheat your oven (220°C) leave the dough to come to room temperature for an hour, place the dough on a greased baking tray and bake for an hour. You'll know it's done when you can knock on the base of the bread and it sounds hollow.

It's more manageable if you split the dough in half and cook one half on its own. You can then do other creative smaller breads with the other half of the dough.

Hint: You can add olives after taking the dough out of the fridge and it gives the bread a great extra flavour.
